hi! i’m kai (they/she), a queer black creative based on the south side of chicago :) prior to being a freelance video editor, i was a full time (and quite opinionated) content creator for youtube with 240K+ subscribers. i’m a lifelong creative whose passions include, but are not limited to: crochet, writing, collage, reading, oil pastels, video editing, and people.

while my digital presence has lessened, i’ve been taking pleasure in growing more familiar with my body, the world, and those around me. my current goal is to utilize my skills and craft to bring awareness to social/political issues throughout the greater chicagoland area. if you have been a part of my virtual journey at any point in time, thank you! because of your support, i’ve been able to find more intimate ways of taking care. ultimately, i’ve been returning to myself.
